Top Smartphone

Hi, I've been reading reviews about cellular phones and smart phones for a while and the war between palm and windows mobile not to forget the iphone is at its high.
Since I'm too loyal to Palm I cant judge on the other softwares.
When the pocket pc phones hit the market i said this is going to be my phone I'll get one and stop using the palm pdas but when the Treo 680 came to life i changed my mind, now the Treo is slimmer and round edged with the great palm os, so in my opinion if you want the most simple reliable phone you should get the Treo 680, you can use its simplicity or go to third party applications to change its look or to add any valuable application.
I cant stand the idea that the Palm is dying!
What is in your opinion the top smartphone now in the market and why??
